Historical Inn Rooms
Sandpiper Resort is home to Sandpiper Golf Course, Rowena’s Inn on the River, and the Clubhouse Restaurant.
Secluded on a 160-acre waterfront estate, Rowena’s Inn on the River is a grand, English-style 1920s manor that was converted into a boutique resort. The Inn whispers the historical tale of the Pretty Family evident by furniture exemplifying a timeless stylishness. Conversation pieces, such as the bed of opera singer, Dame Nellie Melba, banister from the original Hotel Vancouver, and a dining room table that King George VI and Queen Elizabeth actually sat at are just a few of the stories you’ll hear about. Each inn room has garden or river views. Be sure to inquire about our dining in the Upper Drawing Room–Step Back in Time.
Sandpiper Golf Course is heralded as one of British Columbia’s most scenic 18-hole golf courses. Framed by the rugged backdrop of the Cheam Mountains, Sandpiper Golf Course is ‘forest golfing’ at its finest with abundant wildlife in two distinctly different environments — the open fairways alongside the turquoise waters of the Harrison River and the quiet serenity amongst the ancient 180 ft. Douglas Firs. With the Harrison River in our backyard, Sandpiper’s golf and fishing packages are second to none!
Whether it’s a day of golfing, spending the night at the Inn or enjoying the waterfront views and patio vibes at Clubhouse Restaurant, at Sandpiper Resort ….indulgence is a way of life.
